One thing that has always amazed me about God is how versatile he is. He can fill the hearts of people living a poor, simple life. They don’t need an education to know God exists – they experience him in the simplicity of their daily lives. They know that he is truth, goodness and love, and that is enough. God satisfies their heart and soul.
On the other hand, God can also satisfy the most advanced intellect. People can study theology (or any other subject) for years, and keep attaining a deeper and deeper understanding of God and his mysteries, without comprehending him completely. There is always more to learn.
Most of us are in the middle. We might not spend our entire life in academia, but we do want to know and understand our faith. We can’t really believe in something if we don’t know what it is.
In the near future, I plan on sharing some resources that can be used for religious education, to support religion teachers, help parents teaching their kids at home, or introduce non-Catholics to some important dimensions of the Catholic Church. If you’re interested in learning more about your faith, or teaching your kids more, keep checking back to download short e-books on different topics!
